Routes for all levels
The Aigues-Mortes region offers a multitude of routes suitable for all cyclists. Among the most remarkable, the ViaRhôna connects Saint-Gilles to Aigues-Mortes over approximately 32 km. This route crosses the A Grand Site de France in the Camargue Gardoise , it offers cyclists an immersion in the heart of exceptional flora and fauna. The greenway, with its smooth surface, ensures a safe and pleasant ride to the ramparts of Aigues-Mortes.
For a more immersive experience, the Petite Camargue Walk is ideal. This route, which takes you along greenways and small roads, will introduce you to the typical landscapes of the Camargue Gardoise, between ponds and vast expanses of meadows where wild horses and bulls graze.
You can stop at the Carbonnière Tower, a medieval monument with free access in the middle of the ponds and climb to its summit to observe the wild birds in the surrounding marshes.
